2.2 后元音
英语中一共有五个后元音:
/ɑː ɒ ɔː ʊ uː/
后元音有下列共同特点:
1)舌位的最高点都在舌后部;
2)发音时舌尖都离开下齿;
3)除了/ɑː/是中唇外,其余
的都是圆唇;后三个音 /ɔː ʊ uː/ 发音时双唇略微突出。
后元音的不同之处在于:
1)唇形由/ a: /至/u:/依次缩小;
2)舌后部由/ a: /至/u:/依次递升。

2.2.1 后元音/ a: /的发音要领:
1)舌端离开下齿后缩,舌后部略抬高,舌位较低;
2)唇形自然,略呈圆形,牙床开。
同汉语中的a相比,/ a: /音更长,而且舌端不与下齿接触,因此我们不能简单地以汉语中的a来取代/ a: /音。 |

2.2.2 后元音/ɒ/的发音要领:
1)舌端离开下齿,舌身往后缩,舌后部抬高,舌位略高于后元音/ a: /;
2)唇形自然呈圆形,牙床近乎开,但略小于后元音/ a: /。
汉语中没有与此相似的音,有人把它念得象汉语复韵母ao,这是不对的,要注意在发音过程中开口不要过大,并且避免口型的滑动。 |

2)舌身平放,舌中部抬高半开与半合之间,或更接近于半合唇形扁平,略呈微笑状。
汉语普通话中的韵母e与/ɜː/在发音上有点相似,但e发音较短,舌位也较高。我国学生有时会用/ɔ/或/ɔː/来代替这个音,要注意区分。 |
